About Dianne Hanson
Dianne Hanson, NP, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Adelphi University in 2003. Prior to completing graduate studies, she worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Dianne has worked in a variety of settings, including primary care, Hospice and Palliative Care, and transitional care from hospital to home care.
Dianne has extensive experience with the geriatric population focusing on Congestive Heart Failure, Dementia, Diabetes and Parkinson’s Disease. In addition, Ms Hanson participated in a Post Stroke Research Study in conjunction with New York University with a focus on High Blood Pressure.
Dianne is a member of the New York State Nurse Practitioner’s Association as well as the Nurse Practitioner’s Association of Long Island and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Leadership at Adelphi University, and continues her professional development by attending many professional conferences, seminars, and presentations.
